Vanishing Buildings- An Exhibition by WONG WoBik 時間:2022/7/28-9/11 地點:藝站One Station 香山車站旁 https://www.facebook.com/HsinchuXiangshan https://onewetland.blogspot.com/ 關於王禾璧 香港藝術家王禾璧獲美國藝術學院分別於1977及1979頒純藝術學士及碩士學位。她在攝影及媒體藝術、策展、藝術行政及藝術教育方面具有漫長而積極的職業生涯。個人作品集包括「色與尚」(寶麗萊遠東有限公司出版-1983)及「香港/中國攝影家系列#4 -王禾璧香港宏亞出版有限公司出版 2009」。 王氏於2013年獲香港婦協頒「香港六藝卓越女性」獎及2010年獲民政事務局頒「嘉許狀」表揚藝術文化貢獻,2010年為香港國際攝影節創會會員,自1996年開始為香港康樂及文化事務署博物館專家顧問。她分別於1993年及1995年獲亞洲文化協會(ACC)及國際教育協會(IIE)獎助前往美國合共4個月的藝團及藝術行政的研究。 王氏大部份作品展現城市建築與民生、衝突與平衡、建構與真實等議題。近年創作了以攝影影像、音樂及敘文的錄像作品。自1977年開始,她參與了超過20個個展及150個聯展。她的作品為香港文化博物館、香港M+藝術館、Soho House、中國廣東美術館、英國倫敦現代衝突資料庫、本地及美國私人收藏家收藏。於2020年,王氏其中作品被邀刊登於 Une histoire mondiale des femmes photoses(A World History of Women Photographers),由Marie Robert(奧賽博物館館長)和Luce Lebart(歷史學家和策展人)執導。於 2017年獲義大利烏迪尼市的攝影研究和建築中心組織邀請把其作品展示及刊登於 Women & Photography(從二十世紀初到現在的155名攝影師)。 Wong Wo Bik – a short bio Hong Kong artist Wong Wo Bik received her BFA and MFA degrees in fine arts and photography in 1977 and 1979 U.S.A. She has had a long and active career as a photography/media artist curator art administrator and art educator. Her instant photographic book “Color & Consent” was published by Polaroid Corporation USA/HK in 1983. Her second book “Hong Kong/China Photographers (four) – Wong Wo Bik was published by AsiaOne Publishing in 2009. Wong was awarded Hong Kong Women Excellence in the Six Arts from Hong Kong Federation of Women in 2013 and the Certificate of Commendation from the Secretary of Home Affairs for the promotion of art in 2010. Wong is one of the founding members of Hong Kong Photo Festival (Hong Kong Photographic Culture Association) in 2010 and she has been the Museum Honorary Advisor for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department since 1996. She is also the fellowship recipients of Asian Cultural Council (ACC) and Institute of International Education (IIE) in 1993 and 1995 respectively for the research of arts organization and arts education for a total of 4 months. Her photographic works constantly reveal cultural and artistic issues including city architecture and daily livelihood conflict and balance fabrication and reality. Recently she created video works with still photographs music and narration to transcend altered reality. Since 1977 she participated in 20 solo and 150 group exhibitions. Her works are collected by Hong Kong Heritage Museum Hong Kong M+ Museum Soho House Hong Kong Guangdong Museum of Art Guangzhou China The Archive of Modern Conflict U.K. and private collectors both in Hong Kong and U.S.A. In 2020 Wong’s work was published in Une histoire mondiale des femmes photographes (A World History of Women Photographers) directed by Marie Robert (curator at the Orsay museum) and Luce Lebart (historian and curator). In 2017 her work was published in Women & Photography (155 photographers from the beginning of the XXth Century to Now) organized by the Center for Research and Archiviation of Photography City of Udine Italy. |
